Hello families! My name is Jamie Campbell and I am blessed to be here at the Fifteenth Avenue Child Learning Center where we are dedicated to helping children learn and develop in a loving and nurturing environment. It is our mission to train up children in a Christian environment and to prepare them to be successful for their educational journey and have the necessary life skills to become capable individuals. I have been in the Early Childhood field for over thirteen years and it has been my passion in life to help children learn and grow. My journey began with Fifteenth Avenue as the toddler teacher in 2005 and I was appointed as Director six months later.
I am a graduate of Belmont University’s Teacher Education Program where I earned a Master Degree in Teaching Pre-K-3rd Grade. In addition to the Master Degree in Teaching, I also earned a Certification in Montessori Education through the American Montessori Society as a part of Belmont’s Teacher Education Program. In June 2010, I proudly received the Tennessee Administrator Credential through Tennessee State University’s Center of Excellence for Learning Sciences, of which I am one of just over 100 Early Childhood administrators in the state that has earned this credential. Hard work, dedication, intentionality, and integrity are the core values that I adhere to, and those values are what motivate me to produce excellence in educating young children.
My ultimate goal in life is to know that I have pleased my Heavenly Father by being a steward for Him! It is an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s growth and development. I will never settle when it comes to our children because I know first-hand what it is like to be an employee, parent and Administrator of the Fifteenth Avenue Child Learning Center. Having seen it from all three perspectives, I have come to realize how very unique my understanding of children really is and have had the ability to give the best care possible. I am married with five children, 4 of which have completed the program at the Meharry Preschool or our current location at Fifteenth Avenue. I have enjoyed the family-like relationships that I have built with staff that still remain with Fifteenth Ave. from Meharry Preschool.
Our long standing reputation makes me proud to serve our families and I love what our ministry stands for. Children are PRIORITY and it will always be about what is best for them! I personally welcome you to the Fifteenth Avenue Family and thank God that you have been sent our way.
