Pastor Victor M. Wynn, JD., M.T.S. - Assistant to the Pastor & Minister of Worship

 

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Reverend Victor Marcellus Wynn joined The Temple Church Pastoral Staff after having earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. While a matriculating student at Morehouse, he served as Minister of Music at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Pastor Wynn earned the Doctor of Jurisprudence and Master of Theological Studies degrees at Vanderbilt University in May 2002. Pastor Wynn has been serving in music ministry leadership for nearly 20 years and this year Pastor Wynn will celebrate 10 years serving as Minister of Worship at The Temple Church. Pastor Wynn continues to be a sought after choir and vocal clinician, workshop leader and has served as consultant to several churches throughout the country assisting in the areas of church administration and staff development. Pastor Wynn sits on several boards and committees throughout the Nashville community and is actively involved with several music and arts initiatives around the country. Under Pastors Wynn's leadership The Temple Praise Choir has undertaken two live recordings "Temple Live" and "Temple Live II: A Reunion." In the summer of 2006, Pastor Wynn served as the producer of the Opening Concert for the Centennial Session of the National Baptist Sunday School and Baptist Training Union Congress. Pastor Wynn is married to Alecia M. (Butler) Wynn, and they have two daughters, Sydney Elise and Lauren Marie.
